When a tsunami sweeps away innocent
Lives,
When wars and conflicts threaten us
All,
We think of you a lot, mother!
When fundamentalism & extremism
Creates friction
When one human being doubts
Another sacrifices,
When selfishness tears apart devine
Relationships,
We humbly bow to you, mother!
Mother Mary, you gave us Jesus
Mother Theresa, you gave us love
Mother earth, you gave us life
We owe you everything, mother!
We could never forget our own

Who gave us our brothers & sisters
Raised us all through thick and thin!
